Data Sources Notice
The site uses public property data and derived matching logic to prepare self-help evidence packets.
Primary data source
The Harris pilot uses public HCAD CAMA/bulk property data and derived indexes prepared by PropertyAppealIQ. Current working inputs include public account, residential building, land, fixture, structural element, protest, and hearing data files where available.
What the index currently supports
- Harris County, Texas.
- A1 single-family residential property records.
- Account and normalized-address lookup for free scans.
- Comparable assessment review using appraised dollars per square foot.
- Report generation for properties with adequate public-data coverage.
What the index does not currently prove
- It does not prove market sale value.
- It does not replace HCAD, ARB, or Texas Comptroller records.
- It does not guarantee the official portal currently shows the same values.
- It does not know private condition issues unless the owner provides them.
- It does not determine exemptions, tax rates, taxable value, or final tax bills.
Known validation gate
The full Harris A1 index has been built, but direct scripted HCAD detail page checks were blocked by Cloudflare challenge pages. Paid checkout remains locked until manual portal comparison and compliance review pass.
Public-data limitations
Public records can contain errors, delayed updates, changed values, missing fields, corrected facts, duplicate addresses, inconsistent building data, or data that differs from official notices. Owners should verify all values, facts, and deadlines through official sources before relying on a report.
